* Abstract

The AAO has long and successful history in developing astronomical instruments for many of world’s premier telescopes. The AAO now sits as a department of Macquarie University and is a key node of the Astralis Instrumentation Consortium. This talk will present an overview of our current programme including a description of our flagship hardware projects (such as 4MOST, MANIFEST, GHOST, MAVIS); and our software and research data projects.
