* Title
An Infrared/Submillimeter View of the Evolution of Star-forming Galaxies
* Abstract

Understanding how the star formation activity of galaxies evolves with cosmic time is one of the key issues in the study of galaxy formation and evolution. Interestingly, most star formation takes place in dusty galaxies, which mainly emit radiation in the far-infrared and submillimeter wavelength ranges. I will introduce how our view of of the evolution of star-forming galaxies has changed recently, and then discuss the results from current infrared and submillimeter surveys focusing on nearby star-forming galaxies.
