Almanac in Joseon Dynasty contains astronomical constants, calendar system, apparent motion of the Sun and the Moon, determination of solar and lunar eclipses, and planetary position. Especially it focus on the prediction of solar and lunar eclipse using mathematical technique like as equation of higher degree, trigonometric function, iteration method, and square root. We studied on the calculation method for astronomical phenomena and its characteristics.
